Collaborative meeting facilitation
What is it?
Collaborative meetings are an accompaniment instance to a work team in the definition of important strategies for its area and/or company. For the work team to achieve the aforementioned, facilitation of an external professional is required allowing to objectify the diverse visions, to unify the different criteria, and to facilitate discussion and collaboration among members.
What is to be accomplished?
By working with external facilitator, it will be possible to:
- Achieve a neutral view of all proposals and opinions.
- Speed up the dialogue process and proposals implementation.
- Optimize time for discussions.
- Promote collaboration among participants.
- Close with specific definitions of what was discussed (goals, actions, deadlines or other).
How will it be implemented?
Each team and/or organization will define the implementation option for the "Collaborative Meetings":
Number of meetings: May be required for a single meeting or for a series of meetings.
Meeting length: 60 to 150 minutes at most, to avoid discussion burnout.
Meeting frequency: To be defined together with the team and/or organization, suggesting from a weekly to a monthly meeting (if more than one meeting is required).
